In the spirit of “No Bulldog Left Behind”, our generous benefactors have pledged to match YOUR donation, dollar-for-dollar, up to $30,000. This summer campaign will run from July 1st through Labor Day, September 4, 2017.

SCBR has been experiencing an influx of bulldogs in recent months. For as many bulldogs that get adopted, twice as many come in to rescue. We need your help so we can continue to provide shelter, kennel care, re-homing assistance, and funds for medical treatment for over 150 bulldogs each year.

These dogs come to us from animal shelters, other rescue groups, and owners who wish to surrender their bulldogs. We help these bulldogs in the Southern California area to find suitable homes. Our network consists of volunteers who foster, do home checks, transport, and place bulldogs who come into our program.

Over 1500 bulldogs have been placed through SCBR in Southern California during the last 10 years. We rely entirely on donations for support.

Please donate to help SCBR raise $30,000 in order to receive the full match of another $30,000 ? for a total of $60,000.

All funds raised are spent directly on saving the lives of bulldogs in need and finding them loving forever homes.   SCBR is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Your donations are tax-deductible.

What will your donations fund?

  • Expenses for the rescue of bulldogs from local shelters.
  • Medical care at our rescue vets for all bulldogs rescued.
  • Kenneling expenses to shelter bulldogs rescued.
  • Shady Paws programs for senior bulldogs that placed in homes when it is likely the senior dog will not ever be adopted by most families because of adopters? concern about age.
  • Special needs projects when
